Rantglass - because that's how things are.

The odd pilot.

Uhm. Hello.

Yeah, and you thought it would be so easy to write about one's self...

Fine. The basics: Strizzt; female; Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; publishing/press/media; rock music; fantasy novels; The Matrix.

Rantglass was conceived back in December 2001. I also have a photolog of sorts, which, sadly, is rarely updated due to time constraints, available at Rayglass.

Then when Nanowrimo 2005 came about, I created Rhymeglass to keep track of my attempts to write a 50,000-word novel. 'Novel', haha. I managed to clock 52,045 words on November 29, 2005 for Shadowfalls, though.

I finally got around to starting skies.insatiably.net in January 2006 - which, as its name implies, is all about the lovely blue up there.

Finds happiness in modern/alternative/indie/Brit rock.

Loves their music to bits: Wilco, The National, Kings of Convenience, Broken Social Scene, +/-, Band of Horses, The Dears, Grizzly Bear, Modest Mouse, Athlete, Coldplay, Doves, Editors, Elbow, Keane, Travis, Howie Day, David Gray, John Mayer, Damien Rice.

Also enjoys music from: 311, The Ataris, At The Drive-In, Ash, Badly Drawn Boy, Bjork, The Calling, Damn Dirty Apes, Darren Hayes, Dishwalla, Foo Fighters, Franz Ferdinand, Fuel, Incubus, Jimmy Eat World, The Killers, Lifehouse, Linkin Park, Love Me Butch, Massive Attack, Mew, Our Lady Peace, Radiohead, Sarah McLachlan, Savage Garden, Silverchair, Starsailor, Sufjan Stevens, Suede, The Stills, The Used, ...And You Will Know Us By The Trail of Dead, Vertical Horizon, ... and more.

last.fm charts available here.

Reveres images of magical, fantasy worlds.

Loves reading books about: mysterious dark elves, tiny hobbits, powerful mages, dangerous maidens and striding rangers living in dark realms, battling to see good triumph over evil. Can never tire of flipping through the pages of the Icewind Dale and Dark Elf trilogies (R.A. Salvatore); the Farseer and Tawny Man series (Robin Hobb); and the Dragonlance Chronicles (Margaret Weis, Tracy Hickman).

Bits and pixels.

May also occasionally be found in front of the computer, playing strategy and role playing games such as Planescape: Torment, Icewind Dale, Neverwinter Nights, Simcity, The Sims, Warcraft, Starcraft, Command and Conquer, Caesar III, Rise of Nations... and Minesweeper. Oh, and not to forget whipping up with experimental images from image editing softwares such as Photoshop.

Yeah. I wished I came up with that quote earlier...

Scrolling green code.

The Matrix. Yearns to question reality and likes to be inspired by thought provoking elements, reading up on symbolism and other enlightening materials from the movie. Also finds excitement in sitting through thrilling and action-packed movies, and ones set in distant, fantasy realms.

Also finds time no matter what to tune in to TV series 24, The Amazing Race, Entourage, Fringe and Lost.

And so.

insatiably.net is my personal space on the Internet. If you are in dire need of webspace online, feel free to apply for hosting by sending me an email. At the moment, insatiably.net is only open to hosting by invitation - but if you think you do have what it takes, why not? I give priority to creative and dedicated individuals who love expressing themselves and inspiring others through art; be it in writing, poetry, design, music, photography, and more.
