Rantglass - because that's how things are.

Two units.

Two units.

She joined me when the movie About A Boy was almost halfway through. About an hour later, the credits began to roll on the screen.

“I have already watched this movie last night,” I confessed to her.
“Then why did you watch it again?”
“I love the movie,” I replied promptly. I saw that coming.
“Well, the boy is quite cute…” she admitted. Now, I certainly did not see that coming. I was reminded of that jolly big smile Marcus gave us at the end of the movie.

Too bad she was not referring to Hugh Grant. Must be those grandmotherly instincts of hers… Nevertheless, I could see out of the corner of my eye that she did enjoy the movie, and for some reason that puts a smile on my face whenever I think about it.

After all, we rarely watch English movies together. It is a different case with those fairly new Hong Kong television serials that run on local pay-TV Astro every night, though.

And, I am actually proud to report that my mother is very much unlike She Who Asks Incessant Movie Questions. :)

On another note, I am thinking of including a miniblog at the (sometimes) sidebar, but I am not quite sure how – what I have in mind is to use iframes (eek! ack!). Sigh.
