Rantglass - because that's how things are.

I know you're not listening.

Oh my.

It has been so, so, long – it is not very often that you stumble upon a gem of a song that makes you melt into a puddle of sweet nothingness, and only at first listen.

A song with melodies so smooth, it flows like a musical river within you, gently serenading you into blissful oblivion, blessing you with your deepest desires.

A song that sounds so pure, it makes your heart want to soar over the moon, and encourages you to reach for the stars in the sky.

A song with lyrics that draws you in with immediate effect, made of words so simple yet profound, bringing you meaning to both nothing and everything.

A song that grabs you so completely, it leaves you breathless as you push your muddled thoughts away, close your eyes, sink into the comforting darkness, and have only the song in its place.

A song with a message that tells you that all will be well; that everything is going to be fine; that things always do turn out all right in the end after all.

A song that gives you this wonderful feeling – of longing, of euphoria, of hope – and a finger somewhat sore from all the clicking you did from hitting the repeat button too damn many times.

Congratulations, Mr Tweedy. You have done it again.

  1. I am very curious. What is this song so that I may enjoy it too?

  2. Shomisu – Er… actually the song is from a yet-to-be-released album (the album was leaked out on the internet about two months before the actual release date). :D

But! It’s from one of my favourite bands, Wilco – the song is called Impossible Germany.

    (Wilco is – alt-country/indie/alternative. Apparently.)
