The stakes are high.
Slick. Do it with style. And above all, confidence.
King: Sometimes, Jake, style can get you killed.
Oh, but it has the Rachel, lovely Rachel, too.
Con jobs. Really. How can these people ever put up with such a straight front, launch themselves into an (probably rehearsed just once) act, and lie to your face, just like that?
And we can fall for it equally as easily, just like that, too?
Do they have acting skills that can rival a three-time Oscar winner? Glaring absence of guilt and remorse? Absolute faith and self-assurance? Or just plain ol’ luck?
Heck, perhaps I should consider taking lessons from them.
TV times are here again.
The ninth installment to the race around the world got off to a decent start. The contestants seem to be quite a memorable bunch this time around – I am reminded of Gibbs/Wilsons/Bill and Ted/Harold and Kumar, Gilmore Girls, Nicole and Paris, Golden Girls. The nerds make an adorable pair, too.
Furthermore, season 2 to the numbers 4, 8, 15, 16, 23 and 42 starts tomorrow.
But I want more of Jack Bauer and Vic Mackey, too.
