Rantglass - because that's how things are.

Everytime I watch...

Everytime I watch the Lord of the Rings trailer on TV, I get a tingly sensation. I guess that is what they call impatience.. and geez, I freakin’ can’t wait. I know I have stress that a lot of times, but the thought of this scrumptious brought to the silver screen is just darn exciting. I started reading the book early 2001.. in preparation for the movie, and ended up re-reading it in a few months back.

On another note, I just got home from watching Monsters, Inc. with a friend. It was not a bad movie.. typical Disney/Pixar fare, with happy endings. (oops, did I give away spoilers…...) If your idea of relaxing is to watch a funny, entertaining for-the-kids movie, this could be it. Once again, I was mesmerized by the animation.. particularly Sulley’s furry uh, fur. Plus, Mike Wazowski’s eye look so real.. just like contact lenses, heh (that was a comment I heard behind me, courtesy of a spectator). The little girl, Boo, is oh-so-cute too.. siiiigh. I wonder if I will ever get a walk-in closet..

Wow, gee, this month has been a movie marathon to me. In December 2001 alone, I have watched Harry Potter and the Sorceror’s Stone, Spy Game, Monsters, Inc. and it will not be complete without the much awaited first installment to Lord of the Rings. There goes that tingly sensation again.. can’t wait to see Aragorn in action.
