After the movie to Spider-Man was...

After the movie to Spider-Man was released last week, avid movie goers and major fans of Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones are eagerly awaiting the release of the movie next week. I feel a bit bothered all over the hype and excitement revolving around the movie – but what can I do, I’m not a fan. Companies are preparing for the sudden drop in their employees’ attendance on the particular day. People are gearing up to buy the very first tickets to the movie that will be on sale, such as spending a night in front of the ticket booth, or for an easier way, tune in to major radio stations and press the numbers on the phone furiously whenever the cue to get the movie premiere tickets is played. But heck, radio stations give away free things so easily. You dial in and get a CD for your uh, efforts. Or perhaps even a few cool bucks.

All I know is that, it’s such a terribly long wait to the two sequels to The Matrix. If you’re afraid of spoilers, skip this link and this other link with ultra cool pictures. The Matrix: Reloaded should be released next May, if all things go well (the filming of the movie ran into a few problems, such as the death of two actresses). My anticipation to the movie has been elevated to a new level due to those images.

I can see that 2003 is going to be one great year of movies – with The Matrix: Reloaded, The Matrix: Revolutions, The Incredible Hulk, Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines and Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King.

Oh yeah. If anyone’s gonna go watch Star Wars, go in early and be my eyes and ears, because word is out that the pre-trailer (or teaser) to The Matrix sequels might be shown.

Aieeeeeeeeeeeeee!

On air now: Pipe Dreams, Travis (The Invisible Band)
