Rantglass - because that's how things are.

Silly, that is what it is.

Silly, that is what it is.

Was reading the other day’s newspapers – and I found out that the buggers at the ministry actually banned one of the best movies ever made, which was released back in 2000. I had been hoping that it would be shown here, but.. gah.

That movie is Memento.

And no, it is not because of Carrie-Anne Moss or Joe Pantoliano (think The Matrix), or Guy Pearce (ooh, LA Confidential.. but we will get away from the Time Machine) that I am looking forward to watching this movie. Heck, it garnered a 8.8 rating in the Internet Movie Database.

It is rather disturbing to know that this was decided only by a group of fifteen or so people, who watched the movie, whispered among themselves, gaped at whatever scenes were in it and concluded that it is not good enough for the other few million people in the country. Hello, we are missing out in some good stuff here.

Of course, the only way to get it was through piracy….. but oh, they are discouraging it too.

Looks like we are going to be a bunch of uneducated, uninspired and outdated habitants of the earth.

Or perhaps, we already are.
