To some, today is a day of many happy birthdays, meaningful anniversaries and pressing deadlines; there may be many more to remember, but only one can be Mr. November.
To others, today may well change the future of their lives; it could become a valuable piece of history rewritten but with a price, or an uninteresting footnote jotted down in the archives.
To the rest of us, today is really just another random date in the calendar; the sun will rise and the rains shall fall, hardly another wonder waiting to be told.
But while elsewhere people are either focusing on graver matters of the state and merrily bedecked in colours blue and red, here I am still with a sheepish smile on my face, and with my priorities sorely misplaced. A year means nothing when a night can be everything.
Life-changing moments are not made; they simply are.
This is mine.
