Rantglass - because that's how things are.

Snake in the grass.

They come in all shapes and sizes, manners and colours; men who are corrupted to the very core, and sinners that charm you all the way to your door.

Likewise, we are mere everyday people out to earn a decent and honest living, and to carve destinies of our own making.

But once struck, it matters not that we had had the most resplendent of rainbows to wistfully reminisce of times long gone past, or the most stunning of sunrises and sunsets that disappear just as fast. You might wonder how could any one be so easily swayed, until you take a good look at the mirror and could but only hope for evil to be slayed.

Of course: just as soon as you are done singing praises about and musing over life’s many sunny possibilities, the veil is abruptly pulled off your head, the ugly truth blatantly uncovered before you, and you lose faith in humanity once more.

If every one else has already moved on, does this mean you have long been left behind?
