Rantglass - because that's how things are.

You know a change of environment is sorely needed when you start having to drag yourself to work every morning, blaming it not just on the horrendous traffic jams encountered at the daily commute where five lanes are made to miraculously squeeze into one, but also finding fault with: the multiple rows of previously lime-coloured cubicles that are now fast fading into a disgusting shade of mossy green; the only elevator in the building that has a tendency to stop at every floor but yours; and, of course, the same knee-jerk reactions from the upper echelon that result in a string of excessive demands and impossible deadlines – and with very little returns to make it all worth your while.

Mid-life crisis, burning out, darkness of midlife – whatever you want to call it – but seven years at the same workplace is getting a bit too dreary, I would wager.
