Rantglass - because that's how things are.

Breaking point.

I do have these grand plans for my room ready: for instance, of rearranging alien furniture to my absolute ease and convenience, putting up all the best shots I have taken from my travels around the world on my new bedside table, and adorning the freshly-painted walls with colourful artwork and other miscellaneous handicraft of mine.

Now, almost five months later, I am still aching to set about doing them, despite the painfully obvious revelation that I am no longer your typical rebellious teenager who insists on waking up to a poster of her favourite band stuck on the wall opposite her bed every morning – and the fact that nowadays I do have to first perform a mental calculation before confidently revealing my age upon request.

Because when your head rules over your heart again, you will come to your senses and realise that this will all be over, sooner than you know it.

I wish I could just put a smile to my face and be more confident in telling that to myself though.
