Inside its shell.
It is amazing how few bands can take a turn for the incredible as soon as they step onto stage.
In an album recording they may be threatened by the chains of mediocrity, but in front of a live audience they find absolute creative liberty, where they can: embrace the abundance of raw energy, be enveloped by the overwhelming emotions from a hungry crowd, and enter into a vicious rearrangement of inimitable melodies and yet familiar sounds – thus producing an exceptional listening experience that is many times better than that of the original version.
It could go both ways, but I choose to take that they are singing straight into our hearts, speaking aloud our inner desires, and reminiscing those beautiful times spent together.
Extraordinarily powerful stuff, this.
